This feature is used to close shifts, drop cash and adjust register banks supplied to the cashiers. The Cashier Summary section shows a wealth of shift information that is designed to allow you to see every aspect of the cashier's shift. You can use the blue arrows located on the left side of the screen to expand or collapse the sections revealing additional information.

Total Sales

Shows the total sales for the day for the associated business date

Total Discounts

Let's you see the total value of all discounts the cashier rang up during their shift

Total Voids

Shows the total value of any voids the cashier rang up during their shift

Adjusted Sales

Displays adjusted sales for the cashier shift (total sales - total discounts - total voids = adjusted sales)



Total Checks

Shows the total value of any customer checks taken during the cashier's shift

Total Charges

Let's you see the total value of any charge card payments taken during the cashier's shift

Total Gift Cards

Shows the total value of any gift card payments taken during the cashier's shift

Total House Acct

Shows the total value of any orders applied to house accounts during the cashier's shift

Total Other

Let's you see the total value of any additional non-cash payments taken during the cashier's shift

Total Non Cash

Displays the total value of the sum of all non-cash payments taken



+ Opening Bank

Let's you see the value of the opening bank amount used for this shift

- Cashier Drops

Shows any cash drops pulled from the register cash drawer

+ Driver Drops

Displays any cash infusions pulled from a driver and added to the register's cash drawer

- Driver Banks

Contains the value of any amounts pulled from the drawer to be given to a driver as a starting bank

+ Server Drops

Shows the value of and cash drops from a server that were added to the cash drawer

- Server Banks

Displays the value of any amounts pulled from the drawer to be given to a server as a starting bank

+ Pay Ins

Let's you see the value of any miscellaneous pay ins to the cash drawer

- Pay Outs

Shows the value of any miscellaneous pay outs from the cash drawer

- Cash Back

Subtracts any amount given to the customer as 'cash back' from a debit transaction

+ HA Cash

Let's you see any cash that was paid into the system to be applied to a house account

+ HA Checks

Displays value of any checks used to pay down a house account balance

Total Misc

Shows the total value of all of the items in the miscellaneous section



+ Cash delivery

Displays the total value of any cash deliveries made by the employee during their shift

+ Cash Table

Shows the total value of any cash table service orders tendered by the employee during their shift

+ Cash Other

This entry shows any retail or quick service tickets that were tendered with cash during the employees shift

- Refund Delivery

Let's you see the value of any delivery orders that were refunded in cash to the customer

- Refund Table

Shows you see the value of any table service orders that were refunded in cash to the customer

- Refund Other

Displays the value of any retail or quick service orders that were refunded in cash to the customer

Total Cash

Shows the total value of all of the items in the Cash section (This can be hidden from the Report)



- Gift Card Tips

Let's you see any tips left for the employee that were tendered on a gift card

- Check Tips

Displays any tips that were tendered by check

- Other Tips

Shows you all tips left for the employee on retail or quick service tickets

- HA Tips

Displays any tips charged against a house account

Total Tips

Shows the total value of all of the items in the tips section



Note: Cash Transactions and Cash In Drawer can  be hidden from the report

Closes the current open register shift

Drop Cash

Pull cash from the register cash drawer to be deposited

Add or subtract to the opening back account for the open register shift
