One of the most basic functions available to your employees is the ability to clock in and out of the system. While basic in nature this is vital to proper labor and employee tracking. Ensuring that employees are properly clocking in and out also frees up the store manager from having to edit missed or incorrect punches.


The time clock button is available in two places on the PDQPOS system:


  • The Order screen
  • The Log in screen


Access the Time Clock from the Order Screen:

- After entering your Employee ID and Password press the Green Enter Button and you will be taken to the time clock page:

From this screen you can:


  • Clock In or Out
  • Print a copy of your punches
  • View your clock in\Out status
  • View your work week
  • Pair a device for near time delivery driver tracking
  • See current hourly shift totals


Punches for the Day:

Time In

Shows the date and time of the In punch

Time Out

Shows the date and time of the Out punch

Job Description

Shows the Job the employee was clocked in under

Total Worked

Total time worked on that shift

Show Week:

Show\Hide Days

Toggle to show or hide any days of the week that have no time clock entries

Show\Hide Time Entry

Toggle to show or hide shift level data



(If enabled) An employee who has a Job designated as a Driver and who has an expired license OR expired Insurance will not be able to clock in until their information has been updated in the system. License and Insurance effective dates can be changed in the Staff Manager:

As an optional feature: if an employee is clocking in as a Driver you may wish to use the Driver Tracking feature for deliveries. 


To do so the driver will need to install the PDQ DT app from either the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and link their mobile device using the button.


Drivers will be prompted to scan the displayed QR code or manually enter the code displayed to finish the app linkage:
