Flash Buttons:


Flash buttons give you the ability to setup sets of item modifiers that the cashiers can toggle between when ordering items. For example, you can set up a list of pizza toppings, assign that list to different pizzas and toggle to include or exclude the individual toppings when placing an order. Flash buttons are also commonly used to toggle between different sizes such as small, medium or large.

Flash Sets must be initially setup under the 'Menu Item Manager' and assigned a category of 'Special - Flash Toggle'. Only after setting up the item can it be edited here.


Using the button along the top of the main screen will allow you to link two (2) flash sets together which will allow you to seamlessly transition from one set to the other while modifying an item.


To view\edit a flash set choose the button along the top of the screen and choose an existing flash set:

Flash Sets are configured with two (2) choices per line that are toggled thru when ordering. As can be seen in the example below this flash set is linked to Menu Item 618 and is named 'Party Salads':

1) Filter the available menu items by Menu Group if desired, you can filter either the base or alt groups, or both.


2) Select the base (left) and Alt (Right) items to include in the flash set


3) Either select and existing base and alt item to change to the newly selected menu items or use the button to move them to a new line in the set. 


You can change the Background and Font colors for the item buttons by choosing the corresponding color to the right of the item in the flash set.


If you need to delete a a row from the flash set simply highlight it and select the button.
