The reports in the Order Totals reports give a slightly different look at your sales data. Unlike the order level specificity in the 'Order Audit' section, these reports show a broader overview of your sales with more of an 'at a glance' level of information. This allows the users to get a bigger picture view of their store and offers the ability to spot trends (both positive and negative) over a broader period of time. The following is a list of the available PDQPOS Order Totals reports and their key functions:



Report Name

Description

Sales By City

Shows a breakout of sales that came into the the Point-of-Sale system from surrounding cities. This data will let you better focus marketing drives or spot any issues that may be affecting sales such as road conditions.

Sales By Day

Displays summary view of various sale types over a specified date range. This allows you to view side by side comparisons of information such as payment types, order Transaction Types and discounts.

Trans Type By Day

Lists information about order Transaction Types that can be used to compare the data as a percentage of your daily sales totals.

Hourly Sales

Provides a comprehensive view of all sales broken out by hour for your store. This data can be used to staff your store due to expected sales levels.

Menu Sales

Displays product mix information for items sold in your store. This information can be displayed in several differing ways allowing you to customize the report for easier readability.

Discounts

Lists out all discounts as well as specific order information allowing both and overview and detailed look at this information.

Special Instructions

Allows you to view any and all special-order instructions that were received in your store. This can help in tracking customer requests and can be used to customize your services by spotting trends as they happen.

Delivery Timeline

Gives an overview of all deliveries made throughout your day so you can see when you are meeting delivery goals, and when you may be falling short.

Web Orders

Displays a listing of orders that were entered on an e-commerce platform. This allows you to track how these orders were delivered and how they were paid.

Catering Orders

Shows you a breakout of all orders that were listed as 'catering'. Since these orders can often require staff to work off-site this data can be used to not only staff your store for the additional sales, but also allows for additional staffing to cater these events.

Menu Sales By Employee

Permits you to see sales data per employee on a head-to-head comparison. This can be used to identify who your sales leaders are as well as who may require additional training or support. This data could be used for sales incentive programs to reward your top earners.

Alcohol Delivery

Don't let the name fool you! This report can be used to track any item that was delivered to a customer not only alcohol deliveries. You could use this data to track items sales overall as well as item delivery to a specific customer.
