A Z Report is a detailed printout of the transactions taken on the registers for a given business day that is run at close of day. The report shows totals from the register system since the last Z Report was run and the day closed. Choosing the "Continue Z-Out" option will reset all the day's activities so a new trading day can start with fresh numbers.




Prior to running this report, you must close out any open Drivers, Servers, Register Shifts and Orders:

Once you have closed your open orders, shifts and registers you can continue with the Z Report for the currently open day:

Use the buttons across the top of the screen to open the Audit Trail, Continue the Z-Out process or print a copy of the screen:

Choosing the option will continue the Z-Out and close your day.

Enter and confirm any additional deposit you may have:

Choosing YES to confirm your deposit will continue the Z-Out and will close out the day and cannot be canceled once chosen.




The Z-Report process can take several minutes to complete and gives the system the opportunity to perform backup and other housekeeping functions.

During this process sales are cleared, the credit card batch is finalized, closing reports are sent out, the database is archived and the system restarted to begin a new sales day:

This screen shows information about the associated orders such as the time the order was taken and delivered as well as if the delivery was listed as being late (in yellow). You can also view such things as the order ID, which register and employee took the order as well as amount and type of payment.


Additional information can be viewed by selecting the order number from the list to bring up a detailed information screen:

This screen shows you a detailed list of the items as well as how the order was paid. Additionally shows the customer contact information as well as a detailed breakdown of all actions taken on the order. From this screen you can print and email the receipt as well.
