The Quick-X reports show a variety of summaries of the day’s activities, such as sales totals divided into delivery methods, promos and payouts, hourly sales etc. These reports can be run any time during the day without resetting the day’s information.


These functions allow you to have a single point in which to view important summary information about your current day sales and to run a variety of reports that provide in-depth breakdowns of that data.

The Quick X screen is broken up into several sections with Sales Summary information at the top followed by tax information, voids and payouts. Each of these sections will be explained in detail below.

The Sales Summary section contains information pertaining to your sales totals for the day:


Trans Type

Provides a breakdown of the various order Transaction Types used in your store for the current day.

Qty

Shows the number of orders associated for each Transaction Type.

Guest

Displays the total number of guests for each Transaction Type. 


NOTE: this information is currently only valid for Bar and Table service, all other Transaction Types will show ticket numbers in this field and can be disregarded.

Sales

Shows total sales (plus tax collected) for each Transaction Type.

%

Displays the percentage of each Transaction Types sales in relation to the days total sales.

Paid Checks

Shows total value of all checks that have been paid for the current day.

Open Checks

Displays the total value of all checks that have not been closed and are still open or unpaid.

Charges

let's you see the value of all credit charges made on the day.

House Account

Provides the total value of any house account charges.

Gift Cards

Shows you any gift card value that has been redeemed.

Emp \ Mng Meals

These fields show any discounted employee or manager meals for the day.

Discounts

Contains all discounts applied to customer sales.

Promo

Displays the total value of all promoed items on the day.

Voids

Lists the value of any voided items or orders.

Cust Credits

Shows you any credits that have been issued to customers during the day.





Pressing the button in this section will bring up a screen showing orders taken throughout the current day.

The center section shows you the total sales and tax values for the current day.

Selecting the button in the Void-Promos section will bring up the Void-Promo report which contains a list of all of the voided or promoed items and orders for the current day. The Void-Promo report is explained in detail here:

The Payouts section shows you all Pay-Out or Pay-In transactions for the current day. 


Currently the is under construction in this section and is non-operational at this time.




Along the bottom of the screen is a row of function buttons that open up individual reports:

Use the button to print out a summary report that contains the data shown above. This can be used for documentation purposes to capture your sales data at a particular point in time.



The button will bring up the 'Time clock' report that allows you to see labor data for all of your employees. Use this data to identify staffing issues in order to bring your labor percentage under control. More information on the time clock report can be found in this guide under:

Pressing the button will show you your current days product mix by running the 'Menu Sales report' giving you a variety of ways to view your days product sales. You can view additional information about the menu sales report here:

Use the button in order to display the 'Credit Card Detail' report for the current day. The Card Detail report lists all the approved credit card transactions for a single day. This allows you to reconcile any issues quickly and easily with your processor's batch report. You can see a detailed explanation of this report here:

The button will bring up the 'New Customers' marketing report to display all new customers that were added on the current day. You can see a more detailed description of this report here:

Pressing the button will run the current days 'Hourly Sales' report. The 'Hourly Sales Break Down' report shows you sales and labor information based on a chosen time period, You can see the report here:

Use the button to show a grid view of all of the days orders that have been taken so far. The Audit Trail shows information about the associated orders such as the time the order was taken and delivered as well as if the delivery was listed as being late (in yellow). You can also view such things as the order ID, which register and employee took the order as well as amount and type of payment.

Additional information can be viewed by selecting the order ID from the list to bring up a detailed information screen:

This screen shows you a detailed list of the items as well as how the order was paid. Additionally shows the customer contact information as well as a detailed breakdown of all actions taken on the order. From this screen you can print and email the receipt as well.
